Job Description

We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Director ASIC Physical Design to lead our team in Synopsys (India) Private Limited. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical design and a proven track record of delivering successful projects.

Roles and Responsibility

Lead the development of physical designs for complex ASICs, ensuring high performance and low power consumption.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement design requirements.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers and internal teams.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality designs.
Work closely with the verification team to ensure seamless integration of physical design with other components.

Job Requirements

Strong understanding of physical design principles, including floor planning, placement, and routing.
Experience with industry-standard tools such as ICC2, Primetime, and StarRC.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
