Job Description

As a Senior Principle Engineer - Product Management at Incedo, you will be responsible for the development and management of product roadmaps and requirements. You should have experience with Agile methodologies and be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Roles & Responsibilities:

They must have hands-on experience running production environments like Linux administration, networking, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP), containers, orchestration (Kubernetes), CI/CD, and observability stacks. They should be able to read logs, diagnose distributed systems issues, understand performance bottlenecks, and guide engineers through real-time triage. This is not a theoretical reliability role. It requires someone who has directly worked on outages, migrations, scaling events, and 24/7 operations meaning they were pushing the buttons.
A Production Operations or SRE Manager is responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and availability of all customer-facing and internal production systems. This includes owning incident response processes, guiding rapid triage and resolution, and maintaining the observability, monitoring, and alerting capabilities that allow teams to detect issues early. The role also provides operational oversight of infrastructure health, capacity planning, change management, and the day-to-day stability of hybrid or cloud-based environments.
Equally important, the manager leads the engineering practices that harden systems over time. This involves driving automation, implementing SRE principles such as error budgets and SLIs/SLOs, and reducing operational toil through tooling and process improvements. They steward processes such as root-cause analysis, post-incident reviews, and reliability-focused engineering projects aimed at eliminating recurring issues and strengthening architectural resilience.
Finally, the SRE or Production Operations Manager serves as the connective tissue between engineering, security, product, and customer-facing teams. They translate operational data into actionable insights, partner with development teams to ensure reliability is built into new features, and provide executives with clear visibility into system health and risk. By balancing high-velocity delivery with operational excellence, they enable the organization to scale reliably, sustain customer trust, and operate with discipline in complex, always-on environments.

Technical Skills

Strong understanding of product management principles and methodologies.
Ability to develop and execute product strategy and roadmaps.
Experience in market research, customer needs analysis, and competitive analysis.
Good communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

13-15 years of work experience in relevant field
B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech or MCA degree from a reputed university. Computer science background is preferred
