Role Overview

The Director Marketing & Admissions will be responsible for leading the university’s marketing, branding, outreach, and admissions strategy. The role involves designing and executing innovative campaigns to enhance the university’s visibility, strengthen its brand presence, and achieve annual student enrollment targets. The candidate must have strong expertise and proven experience in higher education marketing and admissions, with deep knowledge of the Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana territories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning & Leadership

    • Develop and implement marketing, branding, and admissions strategies aligned with the university’s vision.
    • Drive annual admissions targets across UG, PG, and other academic programs.
    • Lead, mentor, and manage the marketing and admissions teams for optimal performance.
  • Marketing & Branding

    • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns (digital, print, events, PR, social media, etc.).
    • Build strong industry, media, and institutional networks to increase visibility.
    • Ensure brand consistency across all communication channels.
  • Admissions Management

    • Oversee the entire admissions process from lead generation to final enrollment.
    • Establish and manage partnerships with educational consultants, schools, and coaching centers.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory and university admission guidelines.
  • Regional Focus

    • Leverage strong knowledge of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana markets for student outreach.
    • Build strong relationships with schools, junior colleges, and stakeholders in these regions.
    • Plan territory-specific campaigns to achieve admissions targets.
  • Stakeholder Engagement

    • Collaborate with academic leadership to align admission goals with academic capacity.
    • Represent the university at education fairs, conferences, and industry forums.
    • Regularly report performance metrics, forecasts, and market insights to management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Master’s degree in Marketing / Business Administration / Education Management (preferred).
  • 12+ years of experience in marketing and admissions in higher education, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong network and prior work experience across

    Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana

    territories.
  • Proven track record in achieving admissions targets and building brand visibility.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
