Qualification:

• Diploma in Textile Engineering (preferably in Spinning/Manmade Fibres)

Experience:

• 0–5 years (Freshers with relevant Diploma can also apply)

Key Responsibilities:

Production Supervision

• Monitor and control day-to-day spinning operations in synthetic yarn production.
• Ensure optimum machine efficiency, production targets, and waste control.
• Plan shift operations and allocate manpower effectively.
• Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance coordination with the maintenance team.
• Maintain accurate shift-wise production and downtime records.

Quality Control

• Conduct quality checks at various spinning stages (doffing, winding, cone quality, yarn strength, etc.).
• Ensure adherence to yarn quality standards (denier, tenacity, elongation, U%, hairiness, etc.).
• Analyze yarn defects (neps, slubs, thick & thin places, etc.) and take corrective actions.
• Support lab testing and reporting for customer requirements.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve product quality.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure adherence to safety standards and maintain a clean working environment.
• Train operators/workers in best practices of production and quality.
• Comply with ISO/5S/lean manufacturing and organizational SOPs.

Key Skills:

• Knowledge of synthetic fibre spinning (Polyester, Nylon, Viscose, etc.).
• Strong understanding of yarn quality parameters and testing methods.
• Ability to handle shift production independently.
• Analytical skills for root cause analysis of production & quality issues.
• Good leadership, team handling & reporting skills.
