As the Quality Assurance Lead for the stream, your responsibilities include: - Ensuring that IT solutions and products for your stream meet the quality acceptance criteria based on current requirements and specifications. - Ensuring that engineering solutions for your stream comply with applicable company standards and policies. - Managing the E2E test scope, automation, test plan, test execution, and test reports for your stream. - Collaborating with the defect manager and DevOps manager to drive defect management, conduct RCA, and continuously improve the test approach. - Engaging with the QA practice to coach the team on new approaches. - Driving the automation of tests across the stream and ensuring consistent use of best practices, methodologies, tools, and techniques. - Contributing technical expertise to ensure Test Plan completeness. - Analyzing software testing results, drawing conclusions, and contributing to decisions on product/solution releases. - Managing the stream testing process using project management methodologies and procedures. - Being accountable for the quality of products or components and the performance of the Commercialization Team within the stream. - Contributing to the definition and improvement of Software Development standards. - Serving as the key contact for all Commercialization projects within the stream. - Coordinating resource assignment to scrum teams based on releases. Key deliverables for this role include: - Vision and strategy for quality assurance, testing, and product training for the stream. - Defining quality metrics as predictors for post-release customer experience. - Testing plans and results for each product release. - Integrating automated testing with the CI/CD deployment process. - Continuous improvement of testing processes via feedback loop and defect escape analysis. In terms of experience and competencies, you should have: - A BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related discipline. - 7+ years of test experience with at least 2 years in Automation. - Competencies in project management, people management, test planning and management, test methods, test tools, domain knowledge, user-centered design, quality management, Agile development, process improvement, IT skills, communication, presentation, and negotiation.
