Digital Lead – Ecommerce Platform

Role Overview:

As the Digital Lead – Ecommerce Platform, you will take the helm in managing both the backend and frontend of our ecommerce platform. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between our digital storefront, backend infrastructure, and customer-facing services. This role is perfect for a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and a deep understanding of both development and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Platform Management & Optimization:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the ecommerce platform, ensuring smooth functioning of all components (backend and frontend). Optimize and improve the user experience, performance, and scalability.

• Backend Development:

Lead and manage backend processes including database management, API integrations, and payment gateway configurations. Ensure the platform is secure, efficient, and supports business growth.

• Frontend Development:

Collaborate with design and UX teams to create a seamless and visually engaging user interface. Lead frontend development using modern technologies.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with marketing, sales, customer service, and IT teams to ensure the ecommerce platform aligns with business objectives. Provide technical support and guidance to other departments.

• Continuous Improvement:

Stay ahead of trends in ecommerce technologies, implement best practices, and recommend enhancements. Lead efforts to test, optimize, and troubleshoot issues across the platform.

• Team Leadership:

Mentor and manage a team of developers and digital specialists, fostering a collaborative and growth-driven environment. Conduct regular reviews and provide constructive feedback.

• Analytics & Reporting:

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to site performance, traffic, sales, and customer experience. Provide reports and recommendations for continuous improvements.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
• 3+ years of experience managing or developing ecommerce platforms, with hands-on experience in both backend and frontend development.
• Proven track record in running scalable, high-performance ecommerce websites.
• Strong knowledge of ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, custom solutions).
• Experience in API development and integrations with third-party services (payment gateways, shipping services, CRM tools).
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in backend programming languages
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.) and web hosting solutions.
• Leadership Skills:
• Strong leadership and team management skills. Ability to mentor and motivate developers.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:
• Ability to identify issues, troubleshoot, and deliver innovative solutions quickly.
• Experience with ecommerce analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.).
• Project Management:
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per year
