Dietician

Role Overview: You will be responsible for conducting nutritional assessments of patients, including gathering dietary history, anthropometry, biochemical, and clinical data. Based on medical conditions, physicians" orders, and patient needs, you will develop individualized diet plans. It will be your duty to counsel patients and caregivers on therapeutic diets such as diabetic, renal, cardiac, liver disease, oncology, pediatric, and ICU diets. Monitoring and evaluating patient diet compliance and progress, updating plans as required will also be part of your role. Additionally, you will participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide dietary input for comprehensive patient care. Documentation of all nutrition assessments, care plans, and follow-ups in patient medical records as per NABH documentation standards will be essential. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise the preparation, portioning, and serving of food to ensure nutritional adequacy, safety, and hygiene. - Ensure that food is prepared according to physician-prescribed diets and delivered to the correct patient. - Conduct regular kitchen audits for cleanliness, food safety, and infection control practices. - Implement and monitor standard recipes and portion sizes for consistency. - Coordinate with the Dietary Manager/Catering staff for menu planning and special diets. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field. - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification. - Experience in conducting nutritional assessments and developing individualized diet plans. - Strong knowledge of therapeutic diets and nutritional requirements for various medical conditions. - Familiarity with NABH documentation standards.
