Key Responsibilities of a DGM Civil Engineer: Project Management: Overseeing all aspects of project execution, from planning and design to construction and handover. Contract Management: Managing contracts with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions. Quality Control: Implementing and monitoring quality control measures to ensure projects meet specified standards and regulations. Budget Management: Monitoring project budgets, identifying cost savings opportunities, and ensuring projects are completed within allocated resources. Team Leadership: Leading and mentoring teams of engineers, construction staff, and other professionals involved in the project. Coordination: Coordinating with various stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and other departments, to ensure project objectives are met. Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating potential risks and challenges that may arise during project execution. Progress Reporting: Regularly reporting project progress to management and stakeholders, providing updates on key performance indicators. Specific Tasks and Responsibilities: Detailed Planning: Developing detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
