DGM Project (Civil engineer)

As a Deputy General Manager (DGM) in Civil Engineering, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the execution of large-scale civil engineering projects. Your key role will involve ensuring that projects are completed within budget, on time, and to the required quality standards. You will be leading project management activities, contract administration, quality control, and managing teams of engineers and construction personnel. Your main responsibilities will include: - Project Management: Overseeing all project phases from planning and design to construction and handover. - Contract Management: Managing contracts with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure compliance with terms and conditions. - Quality Control: Implementing and monitoring quality control measures to meet specified standards and regulations. - Budget Management: Monitoring project budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring projects stay within allocated resources. - Team Leadership: Leading and mentoring teams of engineers, construction staff, and other professionals. - Coordination: Collaborating with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders to meet project objectives. - Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating potential risks during project execution. - Progress Reporting: Providing regular updates on project progress to management and stakeholders. Additionally, you will be involved in detailed planning, contract negotiation, site inspections, problem-solving, documentation maintenance, compliance with regulations, and effective collaboration with other departments to achieve project goals. Requirements for this position include a minimum of 20 years of experience, particularly in high-rise building, residential, and commercial projects. Candidates located in Lucknow are preferred.
