Job Overview The Deputy General Manager - Process Excellence will identify development areas and proactively address challenges while facilitating transformational change through organizational resources. Additionally, the role entails leading and coordinating numerous initiatives, collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers and significantly contributing to the company's growth and EBIT objectives. Job Description Operational Optimization and Support Support existing business operations to optimize delivery, resulting in additional savings and improved KPIs for VFS and its clients, including optimizing support functional areas. Review and strategize process models in the context of business scenarios and industry standards for assimilation. Coordinate transformation projects across all VFS regions, ensuring implementation of best practices globally. Structure ambiguous problems and develop analytical approaches, tools, and methodologies for client solution implementation. Demonstrate strong leadership by effectively unifying and guiding diverse teams, delivering financial and non-financial transformation targets. Business Development and Growth Initiatives Support business development and growth teams in creating value-added proposals for new business opportunities using a transformation-led roadmap. Promote growth by identifying opportunities to provide additional client value and extend existing client relationships. Align with VFS’s global objectives for the setup and delivery of new transformation-led offerings, particularly in Value-Added Services (VAS). Collaborate with regional and functional heads to ensure transformation practices meet regulatory requirements and global best practices. Analytical Skills And Performance Measurement Set up a framework to measure the effective deployment of transformation practices and projects across VFS globally. Utilize Lean Six Sigma, advanced analytics, and digital transformation to create effective operating models with defined timelines and financial objectives. Exhibit exceptional analytical skills through quantitative and qualitative analysis, demonstrating strategic thinking and identifying critical business issues. Environment, Social & Governance Promote judicious use of natural resources. Adhere to the organisation's environment, health, and safety policies, objectives, and guidelines. Education Graduate / postgraduate or equivalent global degree Experience 5-9 years of work experience in the Retail, ITES, BPO, Travel, or Hospitality industries. Expertise in Six Sigma Black Belt and Lean methodologies, with exposure to Business Excellence Models. Certifications in PMP, PRINCE2, Vendor Management, and Project Management. Proficient in statistical analysis techniques, including hypothesis testing and control charts. Knowledge of RPA technologies, web scraping, database management, and statistical analysis tools. Experience in defining and automating metrics, as well as conducting process and product audits. Show more Show less
