DevSecOps Engineer

About the Role:

We are hiring a skilled DevSecOps Engineer experienced in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, security automation, and Infrastructure as Code. The role involves designing secure, scalable, and automated deployment systems using AWS, Terraform, security tools, and automation scripting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. CI/CD Pipeline Management

• Build and maintain secure pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline).
• Integrate automated tests, security scans, and compliance checks.
• Manage multi-environment deployments and secret management.

2. Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Develop and maintain Terraform modules for AWS.
• Manage Terraform remote state (S3 + DynamoDB locking).
• Implement IaC best practices, versioning, and policy-as-code.
• (Optional) Work with CloudFormation.

3. AWS Cloud Engineering

• Configure and optimize AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, Route53).
• Implement secure IAM policies and RBAC models.
• Support serverless architectures and cloud migrations.

4. DevSecOps & Security Automation

• Integrate SAST/DAST/SCA tools (SonarQube, Snyk, Checkmarx).
• Enable container security (Trivy, Anchore).
• Configure security monitoring (Security Hub, WAF, CloudTrail).
• Automate compliance checks, vulnerability scans, and incident workflows.

5. Automation & Scripting

• Build automation scripts using Python or Bash.
• Implement serverless automation via Lambda.
• Automate backups, scaling, and DR processes.

6. Monitoring & Observability

• Set up monitoring/logging using CloudWatch, Prometheus/Grafana, Datadog, ELK.
• Troubleshoot performance, pipeline, and deployment issues.

7. Collaboration & Governance

• Work with Dev, Cloud, and Security teams to enable secure DevOps practices.
• Develop documentation, architecture diagrams, and runbooks.

8. Incident Response & Compliance

• Implement threat detection (GuardDuty, CloudTrail, WAF, IDS/IPS).
• Lead incident RCA and support compliance (SOC2, GDPR, ISO27001).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in CS/IT or related field.
• 4–6 years of DevOps/DevSecOps experience.
• Strong CI/CD expertise (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, CodePipeline).
• Hands-on with Terraform and IaC best practices.
• Strong AWS knowledge (compute, networking, serverless, containers).
• Deep understanding of IAM and cloud security.
• Experience with SAST/DAST/SCA & container security tools.
• Proficient in Python/Bash scripting.
• Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, ELK, Datadog).
• Strong troubleshooting and cross-team collaboration skills.
