Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a DevSecOps Engineer, based in Chennai, with some flexibility for remote work. The DevSecOps Engineer will drive the integration of security practices into the DevOps pipeline, continuously enhancing security for software development and deployment. Responsibilities include assessing and implementing secure design practices, monitoring and managing vulnerabilities, and automating testing across various tools and platforms. The role also involves collaborating with other engineering teams to ensure operational excellence and adherence to compliance requirements.

Qualifications

  • Experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
  • Proficiency in security tools and practices, including vulnerability scanning, pen testing, and secure code analysis.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or similar, along with scripting experience.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001) is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or AWS Certified Security Specialist are highly preferred.
