Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps / Software Engineer to design, build, secure, and operate scalable cloud and software solutions across Azure and AWS environments. This role bridges business requirements and technical execution, supports secure government-regulated systems, and drives high-quality delivery through automation, DevOps practices, and modern software engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain secure, high-quality software solutions.
• Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for applications and data platforms.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM, Bicep, or CloudFormation.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure across Azure and AWS.
• Administer and support Linux-based systems (Ubuntu, RHEL, CentOS).
• Automate operations using PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
• Build and operate containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes/AKS/EKS.
• Ensure compliance with government and security standards (FedRAMP, NIST, DoD).
• Monitor system performance, availability, logging, and security; troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with software, data, and operations teams to improve reliability and delivery speed.
• Provide remote system support and manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Document architectures, processes, and operational procedures.
• Evaluate and introduce new tools and automation to improve efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of Azure experience.
• 3+ years of AWS experience.
• 4+ years of Linux system administration experience.
• 4+ years of Java experience.
• 4+ years of PowerShell and automation experience.
• 3+ years working with government security/compliance requirements (FedRAMP High/Moderate, NIST SP 800, DoD IL4).
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, load balancers).
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SailPoint, Spring Boot, and HTML.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI.
• Experience with Snowflake, dbt, and data pipeline automation.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps and cloud security best practices.
• Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud architectures.
• Relevant certifications (Azure, AWS, DevOps, Linux).

Work Environment

• Remote within the U.S.
• Multi-project environment with strong emphasis on security, automation, and quality delivery.
