Job Summary

DevOps Engineer


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement

    CI/CD pipelines

    using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using

    Terraform

    ,

    CloudFormation

    , or similar IaC tools.
  • Manage and monitor

    AWS cloud infrastructure

    (EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Lambda, EKS, etc.).
  • Implement system monitoring, alerting, and logging with tools like

    CloudWatch

    ,

    Prometheus

    ,

    Grafana

    , or

    ELK stack

    .
  • Work closely with development and QA teams to support automated testing and deployments.
  • Ensure system scalability, availability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
  • Define and enforce DevOps best practices including

    version control

    ,

    branching strategy

    , and

    code quality checks

    .
  • Troubleshoot build and deployment failures and production incidents.


Required Skills

  • 12+ years in DevOps engineering with a focus on

    AWS cloud

    services.
  • Strong scripting experience in

    Python

    ,

    Shell

    , or

    Bash

    .
  • Expertise in

    Docker

    ,

    Kubernetes

    , and container orchestration.
  • Strong knowledge of

    Linux systems administration

    .
  • Hands-on experience with

    CI/CD pipelines

    ,

    GitOps

    , and configuration management (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
  • Experience with

    monitoring, alerting

    , and

    logging systems

    .
  • Understanding of

    networking

    ,

    security

    , and

    high availability architectures

    .


Nice to Have

  • AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer).
  • Experience with

    serverless computing

    event-driven architectures
