DevOps Engineer Role Summary We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Infrastructure & DevOps Engineering Lead to design, implement, and optimize large-scale infrastructure systems while driving DevOps excellence across the organization
This role requires a deep understanding of cloud architecture, automation, infrastructure engineering, and leadership The ideal candi will have extensive hands-on technical expertise combined with the ability to lead teams, drive strategic initiatives, and align technology with business goals Key Responsibilities Infrastructure Architecture & Engineering Design, implement, and manage large-scale and mission-critical infrastructure systems Architect cloud, hybrid cloud, and multi-cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Lead strategic infrastructure initiatives that align with business objectives Oversee server, storage, networking, virtualization, and enterprise architecture components Drive adoption of modern technologies including SDN, edge computing, AI/ML infrastructure, etc Evaluate system performance and recommend optimization strategies DevOps & Automation Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc Implement and maintain IaC using Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet Oversee containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes Develop advanced automation and scripting solutions using Python, Bash, or PowerShell Cloud & Security Operations Manage cloud operations including provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and scalability Ensure adherence to compliancegovernance, and industry regulatory requirements Troubleshoot complex technical issues across infrastructure, applications, and networks Implement monitoring and logging using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, or similar tools Leadership & Collaboration Lead cross-functional technical teams and mentor both senior and junior engineers Collaborate with development, operations, architecture, and business teams Guide long-term strategic planning for infrastructure and DevOps capabilities Drive continuous improvement, automation maturity, and operational excellence Required Qualifications Education Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field Experience Experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, cloud engineering, or related domains Proven track record of leading large-scale infrastructure or cloud transformation projects Experience designing and managing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) Deep expertise in networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc) Strong knowledge of virtualization, servers, storage, and enterprise architecture Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving complex infrastructure and application issues Technical Skills CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) IaC (Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet) Containers & Orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) Scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) Version control (Git) Monitoring & Logging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk) Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills Soft Skills Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Strong leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management capabilities Preferred Qualifications Advanced certifications such as: o AWS Certified Solutions Architect / DevOps Engineer o Azure Solutions Architect / DevOps Expert o Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer o CCNP, Microsoft Certified, or equivalent Certifications in Kubernetes, Docker, or related technologies Experience with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks Experience with edge computing, SDN, or AI/ML infrastructure Published research, patents, or contributions to the technology community
