DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our infrastructure team with hands-on experience in building, scaling, and managing services in a cloud-native environment. Linways is a SaaS platform for educational institutions, serving over 8.5 lakh users. We're seeking a self-driven engineer who can take ownership of our DevOps practices, improve reliability, and drive automation across the development and deployment lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available production systems.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and infrastructure-as-code workflows.
• Proactively monitor system health and performance, and troubleshoot complex issues across the stack.
• Implement and improve observability systems including logging, tracing, and alerting.
• Ensure best practices in version control, branching strategies, and release management.
• Collaborate with developers to streamline delivery, support incident response, and improve system resilience.
• Take ownership of infrastructure cost optimization, resource tagging, and usage reporting.
• Drive adoption of DevSecOps practices by integrating security into the CI/CD and infrastructure layers.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering role.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages (Python preferred).
• Proficient with Docker and container orchestration using Kubernetes (mandatory).
• Solid experience managing infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Skilled in infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform (preferred) or CloudFormation.
• Experience with configuration management tools — preferably Ansible.
• Familiar with CI/CD tools and practices, including Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Deep understanding of Git workflows, GitOps practices, and release management.
• Strong background in Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, or Loki.
• Knowledge of secret management and secure deployment practices (e.g., Vault, SOPS).
• Ability to document infrastructure, processes, and operational runbooks effectively.

Pay: ₹344,373.77 - ₹800,000.00 per year
