Qualifications And Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (B.E/B.Tech/BCA/MCA/M.Tech).
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP),including core services and IT infrastructure concepts.
• Hands-on experience with virtualization tools including vCenter, hypervisors, nested virtualization, and bare-metal servers and concepts.
• Practical knowledge of Linux and Windows servers, including cron jobs and essential Linux commands.
• Experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure automation.
• Scripting proficiency in Python and Bash (PowerShell optional).
• Networking fundamentals (IP, routing, subnetting, LAN/WAN/WLAN).
• Experience with firewalls, basic security concepts, and tools like pfSense.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub for version control and team collaboration.
• Ability to perform API testing using cURL and Postman.
• Strong understanding of the application deployment lifecycle and basic application deployment processes.
• Good problem-solving, analytical thinking, and documentation skills.
  

Roles and Responsibility

• Manage and maintain Linux/Windows servers, virtualization environments, and cloud infrastructure across AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Use Terraform and Ansible to provision, automate, and manage infrastructure components.
• Support application deployment lifecycle—from build and testing to release and rollout.
• Deploy and maintain Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads using Docker.
• Develop, enhance, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines and integrate DevSecOps practices.
• Write automation scripts using Python/Bash to optimize recurring tasks.
• Conduct API testing using curl and Postman to validate integrations and service functionality.
• Configure and monitor firewalls including pfSense for secure access control.
• Troubleshoot network, server, and application issues using tools like Wireshark, ping, traceroute, and SNMP.
• Maintain Git/GitHub repos, manage branching strategies, and participate in code reviews.
• Prepare clear, detailed documentation including infrastructure diagrams, workflows, SOPs, and configuration records.
