We are looking for a seasoned DevOps & DR Technology Working Group Lead to establish, activate, and operate the DevOps & Disaster Recovery (DR) Working Group. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the adoption of standardized DevOps practices and implementing robust disaster recovery strategies across the organization. This role requires strategic thinking, hands-on technical expertise, and strong cross-functional leadership to deliver scalable and reliable systems aligned with business goals.
Develop the charter, goals, and operational framework for the DevOps & DR Working Group.
Identify and onboard key members from multiple business units.
Design and manage the initial roadmap for DevOps and DR initiatives.
Define and implement CI/CD pipeline standards across all business units.
Promote automation tools and DevOps best practices for consistent software delivery.
Standardize tools and workflows to streamline operations.
Develop and maintain disaster recovery (DR) policies, strategies, and procedures.
Define Recovery Time Objectives (RTOs) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPOs) for critical systems.
Conduct regular DR drills and simulations to validate readiness and compliance.
Coordinate with other technology working groups (Cybersecurity, Development, etc.) to ensure alignment.
Work with various business units to adapt DevOps and DR solutions to their unique requirements.
Act as the liaison to the Technology Steering Committee (SteerCo) for updates and decisions.
Monitor and guide the working group’s progress to ensure timely achievement of objectives.
CI/CD pipeline implementation and governance
Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible
Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP
Monitoring & Logging Tools: Prometheus, Grafana
Disaster Recovery Strategy: DR drills, backup solutions, RTO/RPO planning
High-availability systems and failover mechanisms
Cross-functional leadership and stakeholder collaboration
Agile and Lean methodology familiarity
6 to 10 years in DevOps, disaster recovery, or related fields
3 to 5 years managing DevOps/DR teams or projects
Experience working with distributed teams or global operations
Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
AWS/Azure/GCP DevOps Certification
Location: Hyderabad, India
Work Week: Sunday to Thursday
International Travel: As needed
