Development Engineer

Role & responsibilities

1. Project Management -

Defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables, creating project plans, and setting timelines and milestones.

2. Project Monitoring and Reporting -

Managing project resources (including people, budget, and materials), tracking progress, and ensuring adherence to the project plan.

3. Understanding and Implementing of APQP -

Ensure that the project is in line with AIAG APQP methodology and meets its requirements.

4. Technical specification review with customers

Discuss and ensure with the customer to have a clear understanding of the requirements, functionality, and technical aspects of the project before development begins .

5. Documentation Management

Create and maintain project documents as per standards.

6. Acclimation with Quality

Communicate with internal quality and customer quality to identify their requirements with respect to the new product development.

7. External & Internal Audits

Responsible for external and internal audits from the development side and ensure that no NCs are observed.

8. Development QMS activities

Responsible for development QMS related activities inline with global quality standards as well as customer standards.
