Engineer/ Sr. Engineer - SCM (Data Analyst)

Role & responsibilities

1. Integrated demand to supply and create supply planning.

2. To ensure material availability for production or customers.

3. To avoid shortage and excess stock from the purchase part.

4. To ensure and control the ordering process, it needs to follow WI and Procedure both BOM and NPP.

5. Proactively review material supply and demand to determine push/pull actions appropriate to impact manufacturing.

6. Analyze inventory levels and product demand to determine reorder levels and safety stocks (Kanban or mini threshold) that will ensure product availability and minimize inventory costs.

7. Analysis on Raw Material Lates: Causes, Actions, and Improvement Plan.

8. Assess impact on materials availability and production schedule from customer sales opportunities that may be affecting demand for product over and above the plan.

9. Awareness of the end to end S&OP process.

10. Hands on experience in ERP (PP - Production planning, MM - Materials management, SD - Sales & Distribution)

Know How

1. Supply planning (MRP - Material Requirement Planning)

2. Procurement, material management and master scheduling.

3. Material control, supply chain planning, supply chain performance, logistics, global purchasing, parts distribution, inventory control, manufacturing, Bill of material, operations and production.

4. Developing and maintaining Forecast, master schedule and procurement plan.

5. People skills, ability to work with others while effectively handling internal pressures.

6. Creation of SOPs & work instructions.

7. Supply method, and parameter

8. Managing the ECN Parts.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Strong MIS Reporting 

Supply Chain Subject Matter Expert (SME)

                        3. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
