Job Description

A Dispatch Assistant's job description includes coordinating deliveries, managing communication between drivers and customers, and preparing necessary documentation for shipments. They are also responsible for tasks like tracking shipments, maintaining dispatch records, resolving discrepancies, and assisting with packing and inventory management.

Coordination and logistics: Schedule drivers, plan routes, and dispatch vehicles or personnel to meet delivery schedules.
Communication: Act as a liaison between drivers, customers, and logistics providers. Provide status updates and handle inquiries.
Documentation and record-keeping: Prepare dispatch documents, generate reports, and maintain accurate logs of all activities.
Problem-solving: Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during the dispatch process.
Packing and inventory: Assist with packaging orders correctly, checking stock levels, and ensuring accurate use of packing materials.
Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies.
Data entry: Use computer systems to maintain records and logs of dispatch activities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
