Role & responsibilities

Technical Support:

• hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, laptop, printer, and 1 peripheral device problems.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), applications, and software updates.
• Remote desktop support.

Network Support:

.

• troubleshooting of local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN).
• Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, including wired and wireless connections.
• Basic understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Assist with network device configuration (routers, switches, Firewalls)

Hardware and Software Management:

• Perform hardware and software inventory management.
• Deploy and configure new desktop and laptop systems.
• Manage software licensing and updates.
• Maintain and troubleshoot VoIP phone systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a desktop support role.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Solid understanding of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
• Knowledge of networking concepts (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience with Active Directory or similar user management systems.
• Familiarity with remote desktop support tools.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A+ , Network+ or similar certifications are a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
• Knowledge of cloud-based services (e.g., Office 365, Google Workspace).
• Experience with IT service management (ITSM) tools.
• Experience with VoIP systems.
