Desktop Support Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer with 2 years of experience to provide technical assistance and support for end-users. The role involves troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues, ensuring smooth IT operations, and maintaining excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 1 & Level 2 desktop support to end-users (onsite/remote).
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and applications.
• Support and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN).
• Respond to and resolve user-reported incidents within defined SLAs.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and perform system upgrades/patching.
• Assist with email, user account, and access management (Active Directory, Office 365, etc.).
• Coordinate with higher-level support teams for escalated issues.
• Document issues, resolutions, and best practices in the knowledge base.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, data security, and backup standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Graduate in Computer Science / IT / related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2 years of hands-on desktop support experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, Outlook, and basic networking.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and remote support tools.
• Good understanding of antivirus, backup, and security tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Pay: ₹10,148.76 - ₹18,000.00 per month
