Job Description

Role: Deskside Services

Location: Noida, Kochi

Exp:5+y

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Escalation Management:

    Provide the final tier of deskside support for all complex incidents involving OS, domains, and Active Directory.

  • Technical Leadership:

    Guide and train L1 and L2 resources on advanced troubleshooting steps and best practices.

  • System Administration:

    Manage and maintain end-user solutions, including thorough knowledge of AD, Group Policies, and MDM solutions.

  • Automation:

    Utilize PowerShell scripting to automate routine tasks and enhance service efficiency.

  • Process Improvement:

    Ensure a customer-centric approach while adhering to strict incident management processes and SLAs.

  • Infrastructure Support:

    Maintain a basic understanding of network and voice infrastructure to assist in cross-departmental issue resolution.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience:

    Minimum 4–5 years of experience specifically at the L2 support level.

  • Technical Depth:

    Extensive knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, Group Policies, and peripheral devices.

  • Certifications:

    Professional certification in VMware or Citrix is highly preferred.

  • Tools:

    Proficiency with IT service management tools like ServiceNow and the Microsoft O365 suite.

  • Soft Skills:

    Excellent logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to maintain professional business etiquette in high-pressure situations.

Preferred Knowledge:

  • Basic understanding of AWS Cloud Connect.
  • Knowledge of self-healing products (e.g., SysTracks) and data protection tools like Druva.
  • Familiarity with Avaya and basic network connectivity (WiFi/Internet).
