Job Title: Software Designer

We are seeking a skilled and creative Software Designer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and documenting software solutions that are robust, scalable, and user-friendly. This role bridges the gap between user needs, system requirements, and engineering implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand project goals and user requirements.
• Design high-level architecture and detailed component-level software designs.
• Create wireframes, user flows, and interface mockups where applicable.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation including design specifications, system architecture, and interface definitions.
• Ensure software designs align with industry best practices, company standards, and long-term maintainability.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure adherence to design standards.
• Work closely with UX/UI designers to translate design concepts into functional software designs.
• Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and methodologies to support development efforts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in software design, architecture, or software development.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
• Experience with system modeling tools (e.g., UML, flowcharts).
• Knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of database design and API development.
• Experience in designing for mobile, web, and/or embedded systems.
