Profile - Designer (Mechanical) – New Products – R&D

Qualification - B.Tech/ B.E in Mechanical

Experience - Min 5+ years in R&D (Mechanical Design), At least 3 years of experience in the Pump industry. Strong technical background in Fabricated Hydraulics /DC Motors used in Solar Pumping Systems

Salary - Upto 12 LPA CTC

Location - Metoda ,Gujarat

Key Responsibilities:

* Design and develop new pump components and assemblies, especially in fabricated hydraulics and DC motor applications

* Create and manage 3D models, 2D drawings, and technical documentation

* Collaborate with Production, Testing, Quality, and Procurement teams during the product development lifecycle

* Contribute to design reviews, prototype testing, and design iterations

* Ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability, performance, and cost-efficiency

* Stay updated with latest design tools, technologies, and industry trends

* Support in preparing test plans, reports, and maintaining design documentation standards

* Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for technical clarifications related to designs and components

* Maintain project timelines and communicate regularly with the HOD – R&D on progress and issues

SKILLS

* Proficient in design software relevant to mechanical product development (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, NX, etc.)

* Familiarity with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

* Strong mechanical design and problem-solving skills

* Understanding of fabrication techniques, materials, and mechanical tolerances

* Preferred: Knowledge of Gujarati (for shop-floor communication)
