Design Strategist

Role Overview: You are being offered an opportunity to join as a design thinker with the potential to quickly progress into a Design Lead role at our company. Your main focus will not only be on creating drawings but also on driving design strategy, concept clarity, and decision-making for premium residential and corporate office interior projects. Your role will involve emphasizing logic, narrative, functionality, problem-solving, and translating these aspects into clear presentations and execution plans. Key Responsibilities: - Interpret client requirements and translate them into clear design strategy documents and presentation decks. - Develop strong concept directions for projects within the initial two weeks of engagement. - Create mood boards, narratives, and presentation frameworks to communicate design concepts effectively. - Ensure alignment of all drawings, vendors, and execution teams with the established design direction. - Provide support for strategic decision-making at the site level, going beyond just creating drawings. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Design, Interior Design, or Architecture. - Minimum of 1 year of experience or a strong portfolio demonstrating fresh thinking. - Proficiency in visual storytelling, clear communication, and rationale. - Good working knowledge of SketchUp, Layout, V-Ray, and CAD.
