Design Quality

As an experienced professional with 3~5 years of relevant experience in the automotive industry, you have a deep understanding of root cause analysis and the ability to conduct simulations of market failures of vehicle systems. Your expertise lies in engine electrical, body electrical parts, vehicle controllers, and related softwares. Additionally, any work experience and knowledge you possess on Electric vehicles/ADAS will be considered an advantage. Your role will require you to have a good grasp of vehicle and component level testing standards for new models. You should also have a basic understanding of design level intervention for quality problems. Demonstrated intent or experience in developing new technologies from concept to production will be highly valued in this position. Verification and validation of advanced infotainment, telematics system functionality, and reliability will be a key responsibility. You will be involved in planning and conducting fleet testing across India, as well as analyzing large amounts of test data to derive meaningful solutions. Your proficiency in component level designs, drawings, and benchmarking activities is essential for this role. Excellent coordination skills will enable you to effectively collaborate with diverse internal and external project stakeholders. Experience in field data collection and the creation of testing standards based on customer usage conditions is necessary. Strong communication and presentation skills are crucial, along with an understanding of manufacturing processes at both vehicle and component levels. Your knowledge about new vehicle features/technology and evaluation test methods & standards will be put to use in this role. You should be familiar with drawing and conducting inspections/audits at the component level. Data analysis and interpretation skills, including the use of SPC tools such as Cp/Cpk, control charts, etc., are required. Advanced knowledge of quality tools and methods such as 8D, Ishikawa, FMEA, RCA, CAPA, MSA, etc., will be beneficial. Effective coordination with other related departments, production shops, and the field is a skill that you will need to possess to excel in this position.,
