Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Design Head for our Civil Structure Water Projects team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in the design and execution of water treatment projects, including WTP, WWTP, ETP, and STP. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills to drive project success and mentor a team of engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the design team for Water Treatment Plants (WTP), Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTP), Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP), and Sewage Treatment Plants (STP).
• Develop and implement design strategies to optimize project efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with national and international design standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for water projects.
• Review and approve design calculations, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Mentor and train junior engineers and design staff.
• Prepare and present design proposals and reports to clients and stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 15-22 years of experience in design and engineering for water treatment projects.
• Strong knowledge of water treatment processes, design codes, and regulations.
• Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant engineering tools.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
• Experience in preparing technical documentation and project reports.
