🚀 We’re Hiring: Design Manager – Food Processing Equipment (Coimbatore)
V Square Engineering is looking for a talented and experienced Design Manager to lead our machinery design team. If you’ve worked on food processing equipment, conveyors, or fabrication of SS equipment — this role is for you!
🔧 Role: Design Manager
📍 Location: Coimbatore
🕔 Experience: 5+ years
🛠 Software: AutoCAD + SolidWorks (mandatory)
🏭 Industry: Food Processing Machinery - Design & Fabrication
💼 What You’ll Do
- Lead the design team in developing innovative food processing machinery.
- Design equipment such as conveyors, washers, dryers, blanchers, elevators, pulpers, etc.
- Review & approve 3D models, 2D drawings, layouts, and BOMs.
- Ensure all designs meet ISO/ASME standards and food-safety requirements.
- Coordinate with production and purchase teams for manufacturability and cost optimization.
- Conduct feasibility checks, stress/load analysis, and DFM reviews.
- Drive R&D activities to introduce new products and design improvements.
- Provide technical support during fabrication & assembly.
🎯 What We’re Looking For
- B.E in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering
- 5+ years experience in designing food processing or material handling machinery
- Strong skills in AutoCAD & SolidWorks
- Knowledge of DFM, tolerances, fabrication, sheet metal, and SS equipment
- Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
