The role involves preparing GA, SLD, and wiring diagrams, generating BOMs, and ensuring technical accuracy for smooth manufacturing. The Design Engineer coordinates with sales, production, and purchase teams to deliver reliable and cost-effective solutions. This role supports quality, safety, and continuous improvement in panel design processes. Responsibilities: 1. Prepare GA, SLD, and wiring diagrams using AutoCAD/EPLAN 2. Design MCC, PCC, APFC, VFD, AMF, and custom panels 3. Create accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) 4. Ensure compliance with IS/IEC/CPRI standards 5. Coordinate with sales, production, and purchase teams 6. Revise drawings based on client/site feedback 7. Support production and testing during panel assembly 8. Maintain design documentation and revision history 9. Select and optimize electrical components 10. Continuously update technical knowledge and design practices Requisite Skills: a) Proficiency in AutoCAD (EPLAN knowledge is a plus) b) Strong understanding of electrical schematics, GA, SLD, and wiring diagrams c) Knowledge of LV panel types (MCC, PCC, APFC, AMF, VFD, etc.) d) Familiarity with electrical components and switchgear selection (Schneider, L&T, Siemens, etc.) e) Basic knowledge of IS/IEC standards and CPRI/ISO compliance f) Ability to prepare an accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) g) Problem-solving skills for design and site issues h) Coordination skills to work with sales, production, and testing teams i) Attention to detail and accuracy in design documentation j) Basic project understanding and timeline management Education: ITI/Diploma/B.E./B. Tech in Electrical Engineering Relevant Experience: 2 to 3 years, Proficiency in AutoCAD, EPLAN CTC per annum: 3.5 – 5.50 Lakhs (INR) Total Experience: 3+ Years Will travel?
