Design Engineer

Job Purpose

To support the Civil/Structural Engineering activities including preparation of engineering drawings, basic design calculations, and coordination with project teams, under guidance from senior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of Civil and Structural drawings using AutoCAD.
• Support structural design and analysis work using STAAD.Pro.
• Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs and material estimation for projects.
• Draft and update engineering documents, specifications, and technical reports.
• Coordinate with Architecture, Mechanical, Electrical, and other disciplines for integrated project design.
• Review design inputs and ensure accuracy and consistency in documentation.
• Provide support to site team for clarifications related to drawings and specifications, as required.
• Comply with company quality standards, design guidelines, and applicable codes/standards (such as IS standards).

Skills & Competencies Required

• Strong understanding of Civil Engineering fundamentals and Structural mechanics.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for civil and structural drawings (Mandatory).
• Working knowledge of STAAD.Pro for structural analysis and design (Mandatory).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

• Ability to handle tasks under supervision and follow engineering instructions and procedures.

Pay: ₹15,500.00 - ₹185,000.00 per month
