Job Summary
Responsibilities include working in a wide range of industries to maintain or invent robotics systems. Engineers will work with CAD and drafting software to design and manufacture specifications for robotics systems. They will program robots to perform tasks, and fine tune designs.
Responsibilities and Duties
Studying a design brief
thinking of possible design solutionsresearching whether the design will work and be cost-effectiveassessing the usability, environmental impact and safety of a designusing computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-assisted engineering (CAE) software to create prototypescollecting and analysing data from tests on prototypesmodifying designs and retesting themmaking 2D drafting/drawings of various products for approvals and machiningsupporting sales and project team for drawing approvalsdesigning of parts for new product developmentsmaking 3D, 2D layouts & simulation videos for robot applications and other projects.
