Design Engineer

Experience: Minimum 5 years

Qualification: B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing dairy machinery and equipment and be proficient in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop dairy equipment such as bulk milk coolers, tanks, and other dairy processing machinery.
• Prepare 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Create and update Bill of Materials (BOM), GA drawings, and fabrication drawings.
• Work closely with the production team to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable.
• Make design modifications based on feedback or customer requirements.
• Support the sales team by providing technical inputs whenever required.
• Contribute to product improvements, cost reduction, and new product development.
• Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and company guidelines.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in design, preferably in the dairy machinery or food processing equipment industry.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Good understanding of sheet metal design, fabrication processes, and sanitary design standards.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of dairy plant layouts and process flow.
• Basic understanding of heat transfer and refrigeration concepts related to dairy equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
