Key Responsibilities: Domestic Supplier Handling: Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers for raw materials and bought-out items. Maintain strong communication with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve any supply issues. Supplier Performance Monitoring: Track and assess supplier delivery performance, quality ratings, and service levels. Maintain supplier scorecards and initiate improvement actions where necessary. Supplier Audits: Coordinate and participate in supplier audits (Quality, Process, and Compliance). Document findings and follow up on corrective actions. Independently handle all regional processes including marketing, lead generation, RFQ handling, lead conversion, sales growth, payment collection, and brand development activities. Increase share of business and encourage repeat purchases from existing customers. Conduct continuous demand research and monitor competitor activities for hydraulic filter products and services. Own and exceed annual sales targets within the assigned territory and accounts. Foster a high-performing sales culture and act as a strong team player for both internal colleagues and customers. Identify hidden or unmet customer needs and offer innovative solutions that can be converted into revenue-generating projects, supporting the R&D team in potential patent developments. Develop and execute a 3-year business plan for the region, aligned with company targets for Gross Margin, ROS (Return on Sales), and RONA (Return on Net Assets). Be open to frequent travel, with a minimum of 50% of the time spent in the field. Education and Experience Requirements: Educational Qualification: B . E. B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering; an MBA is an added advantage. Experience: Minimum 15 years of sales experience in the hydraulic industry. Develop precise 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings with appropriate GD&T standards. Create, manage, and update Bill of Materials (BOMs) using ERP in accordance with company procedures. Assist the Sales team by responding to Requests for Quotation (RFQs). Benchmark filter elements and assemblies against industry standards and competitor products. Coordinate with production, quality, procurement, and R&D to ensure design feasibility and alignment with project goals. Assist in prototype development, validation testing, and continuous design improvements. Ensure all designs comply with relevant hydraulic and filtration standards. Support engineering change requests and maintain updated design documentation. Qualifications: Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME). Experience: 4-6 years of design experience, preferably in hydraulic systems, filtration, or related mechanical products. Technical Skills: Proficient in SolidWorks CAD (mandatory) & AutoCAD. Strong working knowledge of GD&T per ASME Y14.5 or equivalent standards. Experience with BOM creation and maintenance using ERP.
