Roles & Responsibilities

1. FTTx Network Design

    – Plan and design Fiber-to-the-X (FTTx) networks, covering both aerial and underground deployments.

2. Pole Loading Analysis (PLA)

    – Perform structural analysis of poles using industry-standard tools to determine feasibility for new attachments.

3. Make-Ready Engineering (MRE)

    – Apply MRE standards to ensure compliance with safety and utility regulations.

4. Network Documentation

    – Develop fiber layouts, splice plans, schematics, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) using GIS and CAD applications.

5. Construction & Permit Drawings

    – Prepare detailed drawings and documentation in line with local, state, and federal requirements.

6. Route Optimization

    – Analyze and optimize network routes for cost-effectiveness, accessibility, and scalability.

Qualification & Eligibility

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Electrical / Electronics / Telecommunications / Computer Science / related field.
• Diploma holders with strong relevant experience may also apply.

Experience:

• 2–5 years of experience in FTTx design, Pole Loading Analysis, and Make-Ready Engineering (MRE).
• Hands-on experience with O-Calc Pro, SPIDAcalc, Katapult, GIS, and AutoCAD.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong knowledge of fiber network architecture (aerial & underground).
• Ability to prepare detailed construction drawings and BOMs.
• Good understanding of regulatory standards, safety compliance, and permitting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
