Design Coordinator

Role Overview: As a Design Project Lead, your main responsibility will be to take care of the creation of designs and proto development of design collections. This includes design creation, pdis making, cad to final proto development, as well as mentoring a small team of designers. You will also be responsible for proposing design stories and ideas, conducting research work, and design trend forecasts. Additionally, you will be required to travel for product development and company events, and coordinate with various teams such as factory, vendors, and the brand team. Key Responsibilities: - Understand the brand's design aesthetic to help build differentiated product designs - Create and develop designs for design collections according to the design calendar and requirements - Mentor a team of designers and take care of creation of designs and proto development of design collections - Coordinate with vendors for the development of products and ensure smooth delivery - Ensure 100% customer satisfaction and maximize opportunities - Coordinate with marketing, merchandising, retail, and consumers to build relevant products - Develop a comprehensive understanding of product trends and customer requirements - Travel across vendor locations and company locations at short notice - Have a high level of 3D visualization and technical understanding - Develop new insights and convert market trends into designs and products - Stay aware of current and future trends in the jewelry market and create innovative designs - Take a hands-on approach and be proactive in driving results - Effectively mentor a team of designers and engage with various stakeholders - Anticipate internal and external customer needs - Synthesize knowledge from various sources and constantly update the knowledge base Qualifications Required: - Graduate/Postgraduate from NIFT/NID or relevant institutes - Minimum 8-12 years of experience in jewelry design, manufacturing, and new product development - Ability to interact with several teams and stakeholders confidently - Willingness to travel across vendor locations and company locations at short notice,
