Design Coordinator

The Design Coordinator will act as the first line of communication between clients and the design team for high-end residential and hospitality projects. The role ensures that all client queries are received, clarified, documented, and responded to in a structured manner, protecting designer bandwidth while improving client responsiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

Participate in client WhatsApp groups as the official point of coordination.

Log, prioritize, and consolidate client queries into structured formats.

Provide immediate responses on routine matters (status updates, schedules, drawing sharing).

Escalate technical design queries to the design team once daily or as scheduled.

Maintain project communication trackers (Excel/Notion/Click Up/Asana).

Prepare weekly client update reports summarizing progress, decisions, and pending items.

Ensure all communication has a written/auditable trail.

Support the design team with follow-ups on drawings, materials, and vendor coordination (limited to design scope).

Qualifications Required

Education: Graduate/Diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, or Civil Engineering preferred.

Experience: 2-4 years of mixed exposure in design, construction, or related roles.

E.g., worked as junior designer, site coordinator, or in a showroom/vendor role.

Skills:

Strong communication skills (written & spoken English + Hindi).

Ability to structure and prioritize information.

Comfort with WhatsApp, Excel, project management tools.

Basic understanding of design drawings (able to read and interpret at a general level).
