Design Consultant

As a Design Consultant at the company, your role involves interacting with customers to grasp their design requirements thoroughly. You will collaborate closely with the sales team to successfully convert potential leads into satisfied customers. Taking ownership of each customer's project from inception to completion, your responsibilities will include creating 2D-3D designs, presentations, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and quotes. Additionally, you will be responsible for guiding customers through the design consultation process and acquainting them with the procedures and policies at the company. Your duties will also entail providing regular updates to both customers and management regarding the status and progress of projects. Furthermore, you will work in conjunction with the merchant and fulfillment teams to ensure adherence to project delivery timelines and enhance the overall customer experience. A key aspect of your role will involve closing deals with customers, and you will be assigned a monthly sales target. This position is a blend of design and sales responsibilities, offering a dynamic work environment. Key Responsibilities: - Interact with customers to understand their design requirements thoroughly. - Collaborate with the sales team to convert potential leads into customers. - Manage the customer's project from initiation to completion, including creating 2D-3D designs, presentations, BOQs, and quotes. - Offer design consultation and educate customers about company processes and terms. - Provide regular project status updates to customers and management. - Coordinate with merchant and fulfillment teams to ensure project delivery timelines are met for an excellent customer experience. - Close deals with customers and achieve monthly sales targets. Qualifications Required: - Experience in independently managing interior design projects. - Proficiency in creating 2D & 3D designs using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Photoshop, and SketchUp. - Knowledge of factory-made modular furniture, including kitchens, wardrobes, and storage units. - Familiarity with engineered wood materials, wood finishes, and hardware used in modular furniture. - Understanding of costing for modular furniture and ability to interpret production drawings, BOQs, and cut lists. - Excellent communication and presentation skills.
