Design Consultant

Role Overview: As the Lead Designer at HomeLane, you will be responsible for overseeing the design process for a group of HomeLane customers. Your primary focus will be on collaborating with customers, understanding their needs, and delivering the best possible design solutions for their homes. This includes providing quotes, creating detailed designs, and preparing production drawings for manufacturing. You will need to manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring that each project is prioritized effectively and executed efficiently. Analyzing sales reports, monitoring project turnaround times, and evaluating customer satisfaction levels to continually improve services will also be part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and deliver optimal design solutions - Provide quotes, create detailed designs, and prepare production drawings for manufacturing - Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and ensure efficient execution - Analyze sales reports, monitor project turnaround times, and evaluate customer satisfaction levels - Ensure proposed designs can be implemented on site with minimal issues - Deliver functional and aesthetically pleasing designs within the customer's budget - Utilize proficiency in Google Sketchup software for design tasks - Communicate effectively in verbal and written forms to convey and defend design ideas and pricing Qualifications Required: - Hold a minimum 2-year Diploma in Interior Designing or Architecture from a reputable institution - Possess site experience and confidence in implementing proposed designs on site - Demonstrate customer-centricity in design approach - Have experience with residential projects - Proficiency in Google Sketchup software is highly desirable - Strong communication skills in verbal and written forms - Fluency in English is mandatory, knowledge of the local language is an added advantage Role Overview: As the Lead Designer at HomeLane, you will be responsible for overseeing the design process for a group of HomeLane customers.
