Role Overview

We are seeking a creative, technically sound, and detail-oriented Architect to lead and contribute to architectural design, coordination, and execution of residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. The role demands strong conceptual thinking, execution clarity, and the ability to collaborate seamlessly with internal teams, consultants, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Planning

• Develop architectural concepts, schematic designs, and detailed working drawings.
• Translate client requirements into functional, aesthetic, and sustainable design solutions.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, by-laws, and statutory regulations.

Technical & Execution Support

• Prepare detailed GFC (Good for Construction) drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, façade, landscape, and other consultants.
• Support site teams with design clarifications, revisions, and execution detailing.

Client & Stakeholder Coordination

• Participate in client meetings, presentations, and design reviews.
• Address design-related queries and incorporate feedback efficiently.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for material and design intent alignment.

Site & Quality Control

• Conduct periodic site visits to ensure design intent is executed accurately.
• Identify and resolve design or coordination issues proactively.
• Maintain documentation, revisions, and approvals systematically.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong design sensibility and spatial understanding.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory); Revit/SketchUp/Rhino preferred.
• Working knowledge of construction methods, materials, and detailing.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Clear communication and presentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture.
• Registration with Council of Architecture (preferred).
• Relevant project experience in residential / commercial architecture.
