Design And Estimation Engineer

As an Estimator, you will be responsible for - Accurately estimating the costs and preparing quotations for HVAC projects. Your role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and internal teams, to ensure timely and competitive pricing while maintaining profitability for the company. Key Responsibilities: 1. Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for HVAC projects, considering materials, labor, equipment, and overhead costs. 2. Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to understand project requirements and scope. 3. Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information and clarify project details. 4. Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services. 5. Utilize Microsoft Excel and other software tools to organize and analyze data, create pricing models, and generate quotations. 6. Collaborate with engineering and design teams to review project plans and identify potential cost-saving opportunities. 7. Ensure that quotations are submitted on time and in accordance with company policies and procedures. 8. Review and negotiate contracts and terms with clients as needed. 9. Keep abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor pricing to maintain competitiveness. 10. Provide support to the sales team by participating in client meetings and presentations as a subject matter expert. Requirements : 1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 2. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and vendors. 3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications. 4. Knowledge of HVAC systems and components, as well as familiarity with industry standards and practices. 5. Prior experience in estimating or related roles in the HVAC or construction industry is preferred. 6. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
