Deputy Vice President

In this role as a Regional Collections Manager, you will lead a team of Regional Managers to oversee field collection processes and drive portfolio performance. Your responsibilities include: - Formulating collection strategies for the zonal cluster based on market dynamics, portfolio segmentation, and business requirements. - Identifying critical or non-performing segments and applying appropriate legal tools for resolution. - Conducting regular performance reviews with vendors, Agency Managers, and Regional Collections Managers to track portfolio health. - Monitoring field collections by bucket, vintage, and region to ensure cost adherence and achieve efficiencies. - Ensuring compliance with policies, processes, audit requirements, and maintaining standards for customer satisfaction. - Handling customer complaints effectively through proper recourse mechanisms. Additionally, you will be accountable for: - Managing the portfolio performance across multiple due stages through Regional Collections Managers and ACMs. - Ensuring availability of infrastructure and resources for collections as per the operating plan. - Monitoring 100% SVCL coverage at vendor locations within the Zone and reporting monthly cost provisions to the Finance team. - Evaluating new markets in line with the Sales growth plan and raising red flags on sourcing quality in new markets. - Participating in the development and implementation of portfolio treatments to maximize collections and resolution. - Performing peer benchmarking to deliver best-in-class performance on key metrics such as Credit Recovery, Gross write-off, and rate of recovery. Your role as a Regional Collections Manager is critical in driving portfolio health and performance, and your strategic decisions and tactical actions will play a key role in the success of the collections process.,
