Deputy Project Manager

Job Title: Deputy Project Manager – Highway Projects

Department: Infrastructure / Roads & Highways
Reporting To: Project Manager / Project Director

Project Location: Odisha

Key Responsibilities:

• Support overall project planning, scheduling, and execution for highway infrastructure.
• Coordinate with design consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and client representatives.
• Monitor progress against baseline schedules and report variances.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Assist in resolving technical issues, contract disputes, and on-site challenges.
• Track project costs and budgets; ensure financial control and reporting.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and reviews to ensure performance and standards.
• Prepare progress reports, presentations, and documentation for stakeholders.
• Liaise with government agencies for permissions, inspections, and approvals.
• Act as acting Project Manager in the absence of the PM.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 8–12 years of relevant experience in highway construction/project management.
• Experience with NHAI, MoRTH, or State PWD projects preferred.
• Working knowledge of project management tools like MS Project/Primavera.
• Familiarity with FIDIC / EPC contract management is an advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
