Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Assist the Project Manager in the overall planning, execution, and monitoring of electrical infrastructure project.
Supervise the Stringing of Overhead HT and LT cables, Manage the installation and commissioning of transformers, and other electrical equipment as required.
Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project progress and timely resolution of issues.
Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate potential risks and issues, and provide regular updates to the Project Manager and other stakeholders.
Ensure strict compliance with company health, safety, and environmental policies and regulations at all project sites.
Manage project resources efficiently, including manpower, materials, and equipment.
Assist in the preparation of project reports, budget tracking, and documentation.
Foster a safe and productive working environment, promoting a culture of teamwork and quality consciousness.
Travel to project sites and other locations as required for project oversight and coordination.

Qualifications:

Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in managing electrical projects.
Proven experience with HT and LT systems, including switchgear, transformers, and associated components.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate and collaborate with diverse teams.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project) and other relevant tools.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet strict deadlines.
