Job Description

1. Supervision of Erection Activities • Oversee and supervise erection, installation, and commissioning of substation equipment, structures, and transmission lines. • Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with approved drawings, standards, and safety guidelines. • Monitor daily work progress and prepare regular site reports. 2. Team & Contractor Management • Lead, assign tasks, and supervise site erection teams and subcontractors. • Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and materials by site staff. • Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings to promote safe working conditions. 3. Quality & Compliance • Inspect workmanship and materials to ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications. • Identify and report any deviations or non-conformances and coordinate timely corrective actions. • Assist Quality Assurance teams during inspections and audits. 4. Coordination & Communication • Liaise with project engineers, design teams, and client representatives to resolve technical and operational issues. • Coordinate with logistics and procurement for timely availability of materials and equipment on-site. • Ensure smooth communication between field teams and project management. 5. Safety Management • Enforce site safety policies and ensure adherence to all safety regulations. • Identify potential hazards and implement preventive measures to minimize accidents. • Maintain safety records and incident reports.
