Job Description

Job Purpose "This position is open with Bajaj Finance ltd." Implementation and automation of BASEL III Reporting Duties and Responsibilities PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (Accountabilities associated with the job) Impact analysis of RBI guidelines w.r.t Basel -III Preparation of project plan for Basel III implementation - covering all the aspects viz. Impact identification, data points analysis, system enhancement required and final computation logic for CRAR End to end execution of Basel -III reporting project Co-ordination with various stakeholders for understanding system functionality and identifying areas of system development / reports required for Basel -III implementation Co-ordination with RBI officials w.r.t implementation of BASEL-III project and interpretational issues Preparation of internal capital adequacy and assessment procedure document and monitoring compliance of the same Co-ordination with RBI officials w.r.t inspection related items pertaining to Basel-III Reporting Finalizing approach for BASEL -III related disclosures Establishing process for controllership of all the data elements required for reporting End to end responsibility for automation of BASEL-III Reporting 4. MAJOR CHALLENGES (Challenges faced on an on-going basis in carrying out the job) Interpretation of Regulatory guidelines w.r.t Basel -III implementation Identification of key impact areas for Basel -III implementation Analysis of system functionalities for automation of Basel III reporting Project monitoring for various system enhancement requirement Co-ordination with various functions for the purpose of requirement finalization and process improvements for BASEL -III Reporting Identification of critical data elements for internal capital adequacy and assessment procedure 5. DECISIONS (Key decisions taken by job holder at his/her end) Decision on various system enhancements required for Basel Reporting Decision with respect to approach to be followed for data gathering and validation for reporting and disclosure Decision on changes to be done in existing process for the purpose of implementation of automated Basel III Reporting Finalization of impact areas for BASEL Reporting 6. INTERACTIONS (Key working relationships a job holder needs to have INSIDE and OUTSIDE the company to accomplish the job) Internal Clients Roles you need to interact with inside the organization to enable success in your day to day work To coordinate with various teams in the organization like- Finance , Risk, Business, IT, Compliance, Treasury, Legal etc. External Clients Roles you need to interact with outside the organization to enable success in your day to day work Co-ordinate with RBI officials Required Qualifications and Experience SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE (Minimum acceptable proficiency for this job which best indicates the education and/or experience requirements of this job and not the incumbent) Thorough knowledge on Basel -III RBI guidelines- Pillar -1, 2 and 3 Implementation / reporting exposure for Basel -III Reporting Expert understanding of internal capital adequacy and assessment procedure Operating knowledge on IGAAP / IND-AS MS Excel proficiency High analytical abilities Exceptional communicational skills Educational Qualifications a)Qualifications Chartered Accountant b)Work Experience Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of Basel -III reporting and automation related project for Banks
