What You Will Do

• Collaborate and be involved in all aspects of tax assignments from planning to finalization.
• Manage 1–2 team members within the cluster.
• Review and manage tax returns and supporting work papers as per US Tax Law.
• Handle compliance for Partnership (Form 1065).
• Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, and lead change efforts effectively.
• Function as a technical SME to ensure quality and timeliness of deliverables.
• Act as the first escalation point for staff and seniors on technical matters/queries.
• Understand and manage firm risk on engagements and proposals.
• Supervise, train, and mentor staff during engagements.
• Assist senior managers and managers in client delivery and team management.
• Assess performance of staff for engagement evaluations.
  

Must-Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in Real Estate / REITS taxation.
• 4+ years of progressive US/Global taxation experience.
• Experience working directly with clients and/or global counterparts.
• Strong technical expertise in US partnership taxation.
  

Nice to Have

• CPA / CA / Enrolled Agent certification (or pursuing).
• M.Com / MBA candidates may also be considered.
  

Additional Guidelines

• Candidates should be comfortable with the hybrid work model (4 days WFO).
• Office location: Goregaon (East), Mumbai (travel duration should not exceed 1 hour).
• Target profiles: Professionals from Big4s, mid-tier, or smaller firms with US Tax experience.
• Must not have overlapping employment with restricted competitor firms.
