Job Description

What You’ll Do

This position is within the Supply Chain department in Coimbatore, India. Candidate will be key player to plan and deliver the materials required from import and local suppliers. This will include raw materials, bought out parts, traded and subcontracted parts.: Development of suppliers for tool dependent products, resolving the technical issues with the suppliers and managing the purchase activities of indirect items & services cost effectively is a key area.

Identifying sources for requirements (RM, Machining, PDC, GDC, Rubber & Plastic molding, & other BOM related direct materials) without compromising QCD
Supplier assessment, evaluation & re-evaluation Price negotiation & finalization
Contract negotiation & Supplier relationship management execution
Ensuring cost reduction in purchasing and outsourcing
Working on new RFQ's with competitive costing
Follow-up parts from supplier to meet customer requirement both internal and external
Maintaining SCM related documents as per AS9100

Qualifications

Bachelors full time degree
Experience of min 10+ yrs (Bachelors)

Understanding of Engineering document/drawing
Microsoft office tools
A3 Problem solving
Product cost roll activity (BOM, Routing), Annual cost roll over
Make/Buy decision making
PPAP, APQP, Supplier Risk Assessment
LTA & NDA with supplier, Supplier On board
