Deputy Manager - Procurement

As a Procurement Specialist at the company located in Halol, Gujarat, India, your role involves driving timely procurement of material according to production plan and other requirements for efficient functioning of plant operations. You are responsible for ensuring a cost-effective process for procurement of identified goods & services. Your key responsibilities include: - Assisting the Head-Purchase in developing a strategy for long-term Procurement Planning of Operations - Preparing Procurement plans for Spares/ Consumables and other local materials based on the Demand & Production Plans - Ensuring timely processing of indents and generation of purchase orders for required materials/ services - Coordinating with TEPL-Jarod Operations & user departments to understand requirements and coordinate with Corporate SCM & suppliers - Developing a cost-effective procurement process including technical and commercial evaluations - Monitoring adherence to procurement budget and taking necessary action to correct deviations - Liaising and negotiating for costs & delivery timelines with approved vendors - Coordinating procurement and delivery of goods from vendor to plant stores - Ensuring tally of received material with Purchase Order and preparing Goods Received Note (GRN) - Maintaining purchasing information, files, and records using T.FAT Purchase Module - Responding to inquiries from internal and external sources - Highlighting cases of non-performance for suspension or blacklisting of vendors - Continuously monitoring inventory levels in stores and ensuring adherence to defined inventory policy - Finalizing & publishing all required purchase-related MIS & reports for review of leadership team members Any additional responsibilities could be assigned to you from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. These responsibilities will be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed upon between you and the competent authority.,
